# murmur tag ls

> List the dashboard tags an existing agent carries, in the order the dashboard renders them.

Lists the [tags](/catalog/tag) an [agent](/concepts/agents) carries, in the order the dashboard renders them. Tags are the dashboard's grouping labels. `list` is an alias for `ls`.

## Synopsis

```bash theme={null}
murmur tag ls [--workspace <NAME>] <SLUG>
```

## Arguments

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
| - | - | - | - |
| `SLUG` | string | yes | The agent's slug, a child path, or an absolute path. |
| `--workspace` | string | no | Workspace name. Overrides the value from `murmur.yaml`. |

## Output

One line: the tags joined with `, `, or `(none)` when the agent carries no tags. A tag that was since removed from the tenant tag registry is still listed as it is stored on the agent.

## Examples

### List an agent's tags

murmur tag ls fix-auth
```

### An agent with no tags

murmur tag ls bump-deps

## Errors

| Code | Meaning | What to do |
| - | - | - |
| `NOT_FOUND` | No agent with that slug exists. | Check the slug with [`murmur ls`](/cli/ls). |
| `UNAUTHENTICATED` | Identity token is missing or expired. | Run [`murmur login`](/cli/login). |
