murmur editor

Prints the browser VS Code URL for an agent’s VM. The URL opens the editor on the agent’s workspace directory, /home/murmur/workspace. The first open installs and starts the editor on the VM. The command builds the URL locally from your configuration. It makes no API call. Opening the URL requires agent.edit on the agent: the editor’s integrated terminal is a shell on the VM, the same access murmur ssh grants.

Synopsis

murmur editor [--open] [slug]

On a VM, the slug is optional. If you omit it, the command prints the URL for the current agent.

Arguments

`slug`	string	on laptop	The agent’s slug, a child path, or an absolute path. Optional on VMs (defaults to self).
`--open`	bool	no	Also open the URL in the default browser. Default: `false`.

Output

One line: the port-proxy URL for the editor port, with the workspace folder as a query parameter.

Errors

Code	Meaning	What to do
none	`public_url not configured`	Set `public_url` in your configuration.
none	`slug is required when not running on a VM`	Pass the agent’s slug.
none	`username not set — configure it in .murmur/murmur.local.yaml`	Run `murmur setup` or `murmur login` to record your username.
