murmur folder create

Creates a folder in your personal dashboard folder list. The new folder holds no agents — file agents into it with murmur folder assign, or spawn straight into it with murmur spawn --folder. Folders are personal: only you can see or change yours.

murmur folder create <NAME>

Arguments

Name	Type	Required	Description
`NAME`	string	yes	The folder’s display label: 1–76 UTF-8 bytes, no leading or trailing whitespace, no control characters. Quote a name containing spaces.

A folder name carries no hierarchy. / is an ordinary character in a label, not a separator — murmur folder create "team/review" makes one folder whose name contains a slash.

Errors

Code	Meaning	What to do
`ALREADY_EXISTS`	You already have a folder with that name.	Names are unique within your own list, ignoring case. Pick another, or rename the existing one.
`INVALID_ARGUMENT`	The name is empty, longer than 76 UTF-8 bytes, or has edge whitespace or control characters.	Fix the name and retry.
`RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED`	You already hold the maximum of 200 folders.	Delete a folder you no longer use with `murmur folder rm`.
`FAILED_PRECONDITION`	The caller has no personal identity to hold folders.	Folders belong to a person. Run the command as yourself rather than from inside an agent’s VM session.
